I wish both of them would stay in their lanes. The Church & America have enough of their own problems.

I agree Dr K, Trump's rhetoric on Social Media is troublesome...I think he should have someone to filter his comments should he decide to continue to use this media. That said, at least he had the courage to call out the Pope by name rather than innuendo. I also think the Pope's message was a bit over the top, in his criticism of the multifaceted US/Israel effort attack. First to rid them of any chance of obtaining a nuclear weapon and second to stop the killing of thousands (upwards of 40 thousand) of their own people and thirdly to restore international trade.. The Pope said nothing about the lives being saved by this effort.

If a crazed maniac had a loaded gun aimed at the Pope just about ready to fire, I doubt he'd ask the Swiss Guard to pray for peace....I could be wrong, but...

The Pope does need to clean house among his Vatican advisors. I write about one of his most favored advisors - the one featured in yesterday’s 60 Minutes piece: Father Manuel Dorantes from Chicago.

Pope Leo’s answer makes no sense. He isn’t “afraid” of Trump? Of course he isn’t “afraid.”

I think the image was not of Jesus. Since when does Jesus appear with weapons and eagles? David maybe. Not Jesus.

They both need to stay in their lane.
